Ignado Samora vs Zelipe Grano

Boxing Daily Report from the Bolivia National Finals 2024,  taking place on 14/03/2024 from Oruro, Bolivia:

The Oruro venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ignado Samora (39(4) - 13) who hails from Cochabamba, Bolivia and Zelipe Grano(3 - 1) from Montero, Bolivia.  

Round 1: 

Samora digs in a left hook to Grano's ribs.

Grano attempts to land a jab, but Samora sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Samora gets on the inside.  Samora pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Samora is on target with a sharp left hook to Grano's body.  
Samora hits home with a cross.  
Grano pivots from in front of his opponent.  Grano is on target with a jab.  Grano throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Samora lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Samora walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Grano throws a right hook, but Samora holds on to his opponent.  Samora is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Samora lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Samora ties up his opponent.  Samora uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Grano behind the head. The referee warns Samora and breaks the clinch.  
Samora drives a firm right uppercut into Grano's body.  Samora ties up his opponent.  Samora is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Samora closes the distance and digs in a right uppercut to Grano's ribcage.  
Grano steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Samora advances into close range and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Grano lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Grano pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Samora is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Samora is on target with a weighty right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE GRANO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Samora ties up his opponent.  Samora is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Samora hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Samora.  
Grano could be stopped here, if Samora can find the right shot!  Samora lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS GRANO DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Samora!
