Jesus Montejo vs Orlando Molina

Boxing Daily Report from the Colombia National Finals 2024,  taking place on 14/03/2024 from Buenaventura, Colombia:

The Buenaventura venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jesus Montejo (27(3) - 11) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Orlando Molina(20 - 20) from Floridablanca, Colombia.

Molina drives a stinging left uppercut into Montejo's body.  
Montejo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Molina is on target with a left hook.  
Montejo steps inside.  Montejo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Montejo lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  Montejo ties up his opponent.  Molina is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Molina quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Montejo lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND SENDS MOLINA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Montejo!
