Ferrand Lacan vs Montrell Verne

Boxing Daily Report from the Cameroon National Finals 2024,  taking place on 17/03/2024 from Maroua, Cameroon:

The Maroua venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ferrand Lacan (13 - 14) who hails from Douala, Cameroon and Montrell Verne(6 - 10) from Garoua, Cameroon.  

Round 1: 

Verne is on target with a solid jab.  
Verne pivots to the side of his opponent.  Verne attempts to land a jab, but Lacan sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.
