Boxing Daily Report from the India National Finals 2024,  taking place on 26/03/2024 from New Delhi, India:

The New Delhi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Zuffur Kazmi (7 - 8) who hails from Ahmedabad, India and Damodar Raghavan(10 - 14(7)) from Jaipur, India.  

Round 1: 

Raghavan gets on the inside and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Raghavan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kazmi lands with a solid jab.  Kazmi attempts to land a cross, but Raghavan blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Raghavan sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Kazmi connects with a right uppercut.  
Kazmi feints a jab, fooling Raghavan into launching a cross counter.  Kazmi springs the trap and counters with  a cross.  
Raghavan advances into close range and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Raghavan gets on the inside and lands a right hook.  
Kazmi attempts to land a right hook, but Raghavan slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kazmi is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Raghavan drives a sharp jab into his opponents face.  
Raghavan pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Raghavan walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Raghavan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Kazmi connects with a cross.  
Raghavan pivots from in front of his opponent, but Kazmi connects with a right hook.  
Kazmi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a solid jab.  
Kazmi is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Raghavan attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Kazmi time to recover.  
Raghavan advances into close range.  Raghavan pivots to the side of his opponent.  Raghavan goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Kazmi's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Raghavan sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Kazmi digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kazmi lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Kazmi throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Raghavan steps inside.  Kazmi lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Raghavan walks Kazmi onto the ropes.  Raghavan pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Raghavan walks his opponent into the corner.  Raghavan lands a cross.  
Raghavan is looking to close the distance.  Raghavan pivots to the side of his opponent, but Kazmi digs in a right hook to Raghavan's ribcage.
