Brin Troop vs James Dever

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2024,  taking place on 26/03/2024 from New Kingston, Jamaica:

The New Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Brin Troop (23 - 16) who hails from Portmore, Jamaica and James Dever(37 - 7) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Troop switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Dever is looking to close the distance.  Troop lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Troop digs in a right hook to Dever's body.  
Dever closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Dever steps inside.  Troop lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.
