Joe Morrison vs Matthew Turner

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2024,  taking place on 26/03/2024 from New Kingston, Jamaica:

The New Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joe Morrison (21 - 12) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Matthew Turner(14 - 13) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Morrison is on target with a jab.  Morrison attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Turner time to recover.
