Leverett Garnier vs Sinclair Piat

Boxing Daily Report from the France National Finals 2024,  taking place on 29/03/2024 from Orleans, France:

The Orleans venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leverett Garnier (4 - 5) who hails from Nantes, France and Sinclair Piat(47 - 9) from Paris, France.

Piat retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Garnier tries to tag Piat on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Garnier lands a right hook.  
Piat lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Piat lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Garnier is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a cross.  
Piat steps inside and lands a solid left hook.  
Piat closes the distance.  Garnier throws a left hook, but Piat clinches his opponent.  Piat is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Piat's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Piat steps inside.  Garnier throws a left hook, but Piat ties up his opponent.  Piat leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
