Oscar Letson vs Paul Elliot

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2024,  taking place on 29/03/2024 from New Kingston, Jamaica:

The New Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Oscar Letson (33 - 12) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Paul Elliot(27 - 14) from Spanish Town, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Elliot lands a ramrod jab.  
Letson closes the distance.  Elliot connects with a right uppercut.  
Letson lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Letson attempts to land a jab, but Elliot sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Elliot tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross.
