Boxing Daily Report from the Japan National Finals 2024,  taking place on 29/03/2024 from Hakodate, Japan:

The Hakodate venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Lightweight divison.

Kudo closes the distance.  Miyahara lands a left hook.  
Miyahara lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kudo gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Kudo clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Kudo pushes his forearm into Miyahara's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kudo drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribcage.

Kudo closes the distance.  Miyahara throws a left uppercut, but Kudo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Kudo pushes his forearm into Miyahara's face.  The ref breaks Kudo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Miyahara digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Kudo holds on to his opponent.  Miyahara leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kudo lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Kudo hits home with a right uppercut.  
Miyahara drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Kudo is on target with a right hook.  
Miyahara throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Kudo time to recover.  
Miyahara throws a left uppercut, but Kudo ties up his opponent.  Kudo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Kudo and breaks the clinch.  
Miyahara lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Miyahara throws a right hook, but Kudo holds on to his opponent.  Miyahara pushes his forearm into Kudo's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Miyahara about fouling.  
Kudo lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kudo steps inside and hits home with a firm right hook.
