Fedya Gravmalis vs Georgiy Meisters

Boxing Daily Report from the Latvia National Finals 2024,  taking place on 11/04/2024 from Riga, Latvia:

The Riga venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Fedya Gravmalis (11 - 16) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Georgiy Meisters(10 - 11) from Riga, Latvia.  

Round 1: 

Meisters steps inside.  Meisters pivots to the left of his opponent.  Meisters throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Meisters gets on the inside.  Meisters pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Meisters lands a sharp cross.  
Meisters hits home with an overhand left.  
Gravmalis steps to the outside.  Gravmalis sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Gravmalis switches the action to the outside.  Meisters lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Gravmalis is looking to keep his distance.  Gravmalis sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands with a stinging jab.  
Gravmalis tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a solid cross.

Gravmalis steps to the outside.  Meisters sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Gravmalis hits home with a stinging cross.
