Juan Nevarez vs Quin Langa

Boxing Daily Report from the Mexico National Finals 2024,  taking place on 11/04/2024 from Reynosa, Mexico:

The Reynosa venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Juan Nevarez (3 - 12) who hails from San Nicolas de los Garza, Mexico and Quin Langa(34 - 8) from Mexico City, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Langa steps inside.  Langa backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Nevarez is whaling away with hooks, but Langa keeps his defence tight.  Nevarez throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Langa time to recover.
