The Christchurch venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bryan Abraham (3 - 2) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Dan Adcock(8 - 12) from Wellington, New Zealand.

Abraham switches the action to the outside and lands with a stiff jab.  Abraham attempts to land an overhand right, but Adcock sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Adcock pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Adcock lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Adcock is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Abraham steps away from his opponent.  Adcock connects with a cross.  
Abraham lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Adcock advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Adcock attempts to land a right hook, but Abraham blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Adcock's body.

Adcock tries to step out of his opponents range.  Adcock quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Abraham lands a jab.  
Adcock switches the action to the outside.  Adcock drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Abraham tries to land a cross, but Adcock blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Abraham switches the action to the outside and attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Adcock's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Abraham lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Adcock is on target with a jab.  
Abraham attempts to land a jab, but Adcock slips the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Adcock is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a firm overhand right.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Adcock's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
