Javier Aguilera vs Lisandro Arevalo

Boxing Daily Report from the Nicaragua National Finals 2024,  taking place on 11/04/2024 from Masaya, Nicaragua:

The Masaya venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Javier Aguilera (8(2) - 9) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Lisandro Arevalo(21(1) - 12) from Managua, Nicaragua.  

Round 1: 

Aguilera sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Arevalo hits home with a stinging cross.

Arevalo closes the distance.  Aguilera throws a left hook, but Arevalo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Aguilera pushes his forearm into Arevalo's face.  The referee warns Aguilera and breaks the clinch.
