Boxing Daily Report from the Uruguay National Finals 2024,  taking place on 26/04/2024 from Montevideo, Uruguay:

The Montevideo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Carlos Gonzalez (17(1) - 23) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Rico Tano(1 - 3(1)) from Montevideo, Uruguay.

Gonzalez advances into close range and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS TANO TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Gonzalez!
