Jacob Eng vs Edward Lans

Boxing Daily Report from the Sweden National Finals 2024,  taking place on 29/04/2024 from Stockholm, Sweden:

The Stockholm venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jacob Eng (8 - 8) who hails from Stockholm, Sweden and Edward Lans(7 - 1) from Stockholm, Sweden.

Lans manouvers Eng onto the ropes.  Lans sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Eng gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Eng is on target with a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Eng hits home with a firm cross.

Lans advances into close range.  Lans pivots to the right of his opponent, but Eng lands a right hook.  Eng attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Lans's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Lans forces Eng to retreat onto the ropes.  Lans pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging right hook.
