The El Paso venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Johnstone (1 - 1) who hails from St. Petersburg, USA and Alastair Shira(20 - 18(1)) from El Paso, USA.  

Round 1: 

Shira is on target with a left hook.  
Johnstone tries to keep the action at long range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Shira hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Shira digs in a left hook to Johnstone's body.  
Shira lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Shira closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Shira pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Johnstone throws a left hook, but Shira clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Shira pushes his forearm into Johnstone's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Shira lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Johnstone advances into close range and manouvers Shira into the corner.  Shira is on target with a right hook.  Shira clinches his opponent.  Shira tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Johnstone behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Shira about fouling.  
Shira is on target with a right uppercut to Johnstone's ribcage.  
Johnstone throws a right hook, but Shira ties up his opponent.  Johnstone uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Shira's kidney. The referee warns Johnstone and breaks the clinch.  
Johnstone is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Shira connects with a left hook.  
Shira quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Johnstone is on target with a right uppercut to Shira's body.  
Shira lands a left hook.  
Johnstone drives a right hook into Shira's ribcage.  
Shira hits home with a left uppercut.
