Canon Delon vs Aki Kudo

Boxing Daily Report from the Busan 2024 Olympic Boxing Championships,  taking place on 13/07/2024 from Busan, South Korea:

The Busan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Round of 32 fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching the broadcast live from around the world, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Canon Delon (50 - 8) who hails from Petionville, Haiti and Aki Kudo(16(1) - 16) from Sapporo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Kudo lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Delon is looking to keep his distance and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Delon throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Delon lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.

Delon tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab.  
Delon feints a left, and then hits home with an overhand right.  
Delon lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Delon lands a stiff jab.  
Delon lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Delon feints a cross, and then lands a jab to Kudo's body.  
Delon sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Kudo drives a stinging cross into Delon's body.
