Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 05/09/2024 from Touba, Senegal:

The Touba venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Oliver Melching (1 - 7) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Roy Diago(0 - 9) from Touba, Senegal.

Melching closes the distance.  Melching sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Melching throws a left hook, but Diago ties up his opponent.  Melching pushes his forearm into Diago's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Melching.  
Diago closes the distance.  Diago quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Melching connects with a left hook.  
Melching is on target with a left hook.  
Melching hits home with a left uppercut.  
Diago throws a left uppercut, but Melching ties up his opponent.  Melching is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Diago uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Melching behind the head. The referee warns Diago and breaks the clinch.  
Diago sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a stinging left hook.
