Sam Biggar vs Andy Hammel

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/12/2024 from Dublin, Ireland:

The Dublin venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sam Biggar (2 - 5) who hails from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland and Andy Hammel(0 - 14(6)) from Dublin, Ireland.  

Round 1: 

Biggar switches the action to the outside.  Hammel connects with a cross.  
Hammel manouvers Biggar into the corner.  Hammel lands a sharp cross.  
Hammel steps inside.  Hammel pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Biggar finds the target with a jab.  
Hammel closes the distance and walks Biggar into the corner.  Biggar is on target with a right hook.  
Hammel lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Hammel throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Biggar time to recover.  
Biggar switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Biggar advances into close range and walks Hammel into the corner.  Biggar lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Biggar sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.

Hammel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Biggar hits home with a right hook.  
Hammel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Biggar is on target with a right uppercut.  
Biggar switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Biggar throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Hammel's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Hammel's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
