Dave Johnstone vs Dominic Adams

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/01/2025 from Philadelphia, USA:

The Philadelphia venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Johnstone (4 - 13) who hails from St. Petersburg, USA and Dominic Adams(6 - 5) from Philadelphia, USA.  

Round 1: 

Johnstone steps inside and hits home with a right hook.

Adams steps to the outside.  Adams sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Adams tries to land a jab, but Johnstone sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Adams pivots to the side of his opponent and lands with a solid jab.  
Adams walks Johnstone into the corner.  Johnstone connects with a cross.  
Adams tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a cross.  
Adams tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.  
Adams is on target with a cross.  
Adams pivots to the right of his opponent and hits the target with a hard jab.  
Adams pivots to the side of his opponent.  Adams throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Adams tries to step out of his opponents range and hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Johnstone steps to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Johnstone drives a left hook into Adams's body.
