Mark Rosete vs Noel Clough

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/02/2025 from Salem, USA:

The Salem venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mark Rosete (1 - 3) who hails from Pembroke Pines, USA and Noel Clough(6 - 16) from Salem, USA.  

Round 1: 

Rosete tries to keep the action at long range.  Clough connects with a stinging cross.  
Rosete hits home with a solid left hook.  
Clough sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook to Rosete's body.  
Rosete throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Clough gets on the inside.  Clough pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Clough pivots from in front of his opponent.  Clough digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  Clough throws a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Rosete lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Rosete quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Clough lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Rosete steps away from his opponent.  Clough lands a stinging cross.  
Clough is looking to keep his distance and is on target with an overhand left.

Rosete quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rosete tries to land a left hook, but Clough blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Rosete lands a jab to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Clough hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Rosete walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Rosete pivots to the left of his opponent, but Clough drives a sharp left hook into Rosete's body.  
Clough is on target with a stinging left uppercut to Rosete's body.  
Clough gets on the inside.  Clough pivots to the side of his opponent.  Clough goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Rosete's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Clough gets on the inside.  Clough pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Clough is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a firm cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Rosete's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!  Clough's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
