Kersam Zadyan vs Shnorhali Dakessyan

Boxing Daily Report from the Armenia National Finals 2025,  taking place on 11/03/2025 from Yerevan, Armenia:

The Yerevan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kersam Zadyan (8 - 12) who hails from Yerevan, Armenia and Shnorhali Dakessyan(42 - 14) from Yerevan, Armenia.  

Round 1: 

Zadyan closes the distance and attempts to land a right hook, but Dakessyan dodges the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Zadyan switches the action to the outside.  Zadyan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Dakessyan tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Zadyan sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Dakessyan is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Zadyan lands a stiff jab.  
Dakessyan walks Zadyan into the corner.  Dakessyan drives a right hook into his opponents body.

Dakessyan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and crashes a spiteful right hook to Zadyan's ribs.  ZADYAN IS HURT!  
Dakessyan is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Dakessyan whips in a big right hook to his opponents body.  ZADYAN IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.

Zadyan steps away from his opponent.  Zadyan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross to Dakessyan's body.  
Dakessyan is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Dakessyan lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Dakessyan lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Dakessyan is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Dakessyan is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Dakessyan forces Zadyan to retreat onto the ropes.  Dakessyan lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Zadyan is looking to keep his distance and throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.
