The Gold Coast venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.

Nicolaides advances into close range and drives a left hook into Sundy's ribs.  
Nicolaides walks Sundy down, trapping him on the ropes.  Nicolaides pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Sundy throws a right hook, but Nicolaides ties up his opponent.  Sundy leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Nicolaides pushes his forearm into Sundy's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Nicolaides.  
Sundy tries to keep the action at long range.  Nicolaides lands a jab.  
Nicolaides advances into close range.  Nicolaides attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Sundy's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Nicolaides steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Nicolaides is on target with a cross.  
Sundy lands a left hook.  
Nicolaides is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Sundy is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Nicolaides lands with a sharp jab.  
Nicolaides gets on the inside.  Nicolaides sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Sundy throws a left hook, but Nicolaides ties up his opponent.  Nicolaides hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Nicolaides and breaks the clinch.  
Sundy steps to the outside.  Nicolaides lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Nicolaides hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Nicolaides closes the distance and forces Sundy to retreat into a neutral corner.  Sundy throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Nicolaides to the neutral corner.  He warns Sundy to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.
