Boxing Daily Report from the Cuba National Finals 2025,  taking place on 11/03/2025 from Holguin, Cuba:

The Holguin venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Macario Chico (9(1) - 23) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Xabat Paula(3 - 10) from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.

Chico steps to the outside.  Paula throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Chico pivots to the side of his opponent, but Paula hits home with a stiff jab.
