Boxing Daily Report from the Australia National Finals 2025,  taking place on 14/03/2025 from Gold Coast, Australia:

The Gold Coast venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ethan Bigg (10 - 13) who hails from Perth, Australia and Joseph Ewart(15 - 6) from Canberra, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Ewart hits home with a left hook.

Ewart closes the distance.  Bigg lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Bigg quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a stiff jab.

Bigg steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ewart drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Bigg lands a ramrod jab.  Bigg tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Bigg's ribcage.  
Bigg switches the action to the outside.  Bigg sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Bigg hits home with a cross.  
Bigg attempts to land a jab, but Ewart dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Ewart gets on the inside and walks his opponent into the corner.  Bigg hits home with a left uppercut.
