Boxing Daily Report from the Costa Rica National Finals 2025,  taking place on 14/03/2025 from San Jose, Costa Rica:

The San Jose venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hernan Montes (13 - 22) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Venacio Loya(9 - 4) from San Jose, Costa Rica.

Montes feints a jab, but Loya ignores the feint and lands with a left uppercut.  
Loya attempts to land a jab, but Montes slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Loya walks Montes down, trapping him on the ropes.  Loya hits home with a left hook.
