Angel Alvear vs Hernan Montes

Boxing Daily Report from the Costa Rica National Finals 2025,  taking place on 17/03/2025 from San Jose, Costa Rica:

The San Jose venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Angel Alvear (18 - 14) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Hernan Montes(14 - 22) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  

Round 1: 

Montes advances into close range.  Montes pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Alvear is on target with a jab.
