Boxing Daily Report from the Ghana National Finals 2025,  taking place on 26/03/2025 from Kumasi, Ghana:

The Kumasi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Nathan Afrani (2 - 13) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Nabulung Amodako(17(1) - 23) from Kumasi, Ghana.  

Round 1: 

Amodako gets on the inside.  Amodako pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Afrani is on target with a stinging left hook.

Amodako manages to force Afrani into a corner.  Amodako hits home with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Afrani's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!  Amodako's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
