Kai Sadami vs Matthew Sowah

Boxing Daily Report from the Ghana National Finals 2025,  taking place on 26/03/2025 from Kumasi, Ghana:

The Kumasi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kai Sadami (23(1) - 20) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Matthew Sowah(12 - 8) from Kumasi, Ghana.  

Round 1: 

Sowah switches the action to the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Sadami sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Sowah closes the distance.  Sadami digs in a right uppercut to Sowah's body.  
Sadami tries to step out of his opponents range.  Sowah lands a spiteful jab.  
Sowah walks Sadami onto the ropes.  Sowah sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Sowah sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.
