The Swords venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.

Kavanagh closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping McCorkle in the blue corner.  McCorkle attempts to land a left hook, but Kavanagh blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Kavanagh closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Kavanagh is on target with a left hook to McCorkle's liver.  
Kavanagh lands a right uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Kavanagh quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kavanagh is on target with a left hook to McCorkle's body.  
Kavanagh retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  McCorkle tries to tag Kavanagh on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
McCorkle steps to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
McCorkle sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Kavanagh lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Kavanagh lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Kavanagh holds on to his opponent.  Kavanagh pushes his forearm into McCorkle's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McCorkle lands a left hook.  Kavanagh ties up his opponent.  Kavanagh pushes his forearm into McCorkle's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McCorkle steps to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
McCorkle looks like he desparately needs a second wind.  At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kavanagh's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
