Boxing Daily Report from the Ireland National Finals 2025,  taking place on 26/03/2025 from Swords, Ireland:

The Swords venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Lorcan McPhee (9 - 18(1)) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Patrick Rowan(6(1) - 10) from Dublin, Ireland.  

Round 1: 

Rowan gets on the inside.  McPhee attempts to land a right uppercut, but Rowan parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

McPhee steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
McPhee tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
McPhee tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.  
McPhee lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
McPhee tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
McPhee lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

McPhee tries to land a left hook, but Rowan blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
