Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2025,  taking place on 29/03/2025 from New Kingston, Jamaica:

The New Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ian Gaynor (4 - 4) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and Kris Maddex(8 - 11) from Portmore, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Maddex closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Maddex is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left uppercut to Gaynor's body.  
Maddex lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Maddex is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp right uppercut.

Gaynor quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Maddex lands with a spiteful jab.  
Maddex attempts to land an overhand left, but Gaynor sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Maddex is on target with a cross.  
Gaynor advances into close range.  Gaynor pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.
