Cody Swapp vs John Blethen

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2025,  taking place on 29/03/2025 from New Kingston, Jamaica:

The New Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Cody Swapp (12 - 9) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and John Blethen(14 - 8) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Blethen pivots to the side of his opponent, but Swapp is on target with a solid cross.  
Blethen walks Swapp onto the ropes.  Blethen pivots to the side of his opponent.  Blethen throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Swapp attempts to land a left hook, but Blethen sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.
