Akira Minami vs Yutaka Kaba

Boxing Daily Report from the Japan National Finals 2025,  taking place on 29/03/2025 from Toyota, Japan:

The Toyota venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Akira Minami (18 - 10) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Yutaka Kaba(9 - 14) from Fukuyama, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Kaba hits home with a sharp jab.  
Kaba is looking to close the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Kaba throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Minami sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Kaba closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Kaba steps inside.  Kaba sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Minami lands a right hook.  
Minami is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a stinging jab.
