Tariq Rahimi vs Gao Ching

Boxing Daily Report from the Malaysia National Finals 2025,  taking place on 11/04/2025 from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia:

The Kuala Lumpur venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Tariq Rahimi (12 - 10) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Gao Ching(11(2) - 27) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  

Round 1: 

Ching is looking to close the distance.  Rahimi lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Rahimi steps to the outside.  Ching tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Rahimi backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Ching accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Rahimi.

Rahimi lands with a spiteful jab.  
Ching lands a solid cross.  Ching tries to land a cross, but Rahimi sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Rahimi steps away from his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Rahimi is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a stinging cross.  
Ching lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Rahimi lands a left uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ching advances into close range and lands a right hook.
