Martel Armbruster vs Ring Stimmell

Boxing Daily Report from the Switzerland National Finals 2025,  taking place on 26/04/2025 from Zurich, Switzerland:

The Zurich venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Martel Armbruster (14(1) - 16) who hails from Winterthur, Switzerland and Ring Stimmell(5 - 6(1)) from Zurich, Switzerland.  

Round 1: 

Armbruster gets on the inside.  Armbruster sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Stimmell connects with a left uppercut.  
Armbruster lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Stimmell steps to the outside.  Armbruster attempts to land a jab, but Stimmell slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Armbruster digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Armbruster forces Stimmell to back into the corner.  Armbruster lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Stimmell steps away from his opponent and hits home with an overhand right.  
Armbruster closes the distance.  Stimmell connects with a right hook.  
Armbruster steps inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Armbruster is looking to close the distance.  Armbruster sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Stimmell sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Armbruster finds the target with a hard jab.  
Armbruster digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Armbruster gets on the inside.  Stimmell lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Armbruster lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Stimmell quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Armbruster attempts to land a cross, but Stimmell sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Armbruster digs in a sharp left hook to Stimmell's liver.

Armbruster closes the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Stimmell is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Armbruster tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Armbruster lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Armbruster is on target with a left hook.  Armbruster holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Stimmell pushes his forearm into Armbruster's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Stimmell.  
Armbruster closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Armbruster steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Armbruster drives a stinging left uppercut into Stimmell's body.  
Armbruster gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Armbruster throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Armbruster ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Armbruster lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Stimmell throws a right hook, but Armbruster holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Armbruster pushes his forearm into Stimmell's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Stimmell's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Armbruster is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Armbruster is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Armbruster gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Armbruster lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Armbruster is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Stimmell throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Armbruster advances into close range.  Armbruster goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Stimmell time to recover.  
Armbruster lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND DROPS STIMMELL TO THE CANVAS!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Armbruster!
