Boxing Daily Report from the Yemen National Finals 2025,  taking place on 26/04/2025 from Al Hudaydah, Yemen:

The Al Hudaydah venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Obaid Ahmed (5 - 11) who hails from Aden, Yemen and Obaid Kassab(6 - 4) from Sana'a, Yemen.  

Round 1: 

Ahmed pivots to the left of his opponent, but Kassab lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Kassab tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ahmed gets on the inside and digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.

Kassab throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Kassab is on target with a cross.  
Ahmed closes the distance.  Ahmed digs in a right hook to Kassab's ribs.  
Ahmed pivots to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Ahmed closes the distance.  Kassab lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ahmed closes the distance.  Ahmed pivots to the left of his opponent.  Ahmed tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ahmed lands a cross.  
Ahmed advances into close range and digs in a left uppercut to Kassab's body.
