Acastus Maras vs Calchas Vasco

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/05/2025 from Patrai, Greece:

The Patrai venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Acastus Maras (27 - 13) who hails from Heraklion, Greece and Calchas Vasco(1 - 16) from Patrai, Greece.  

Round 1: 

Vasco gets on the inside.  Maras tries to land a right hook, but Vasco sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Maras steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Maras tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Maras steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Maras lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Vasco steps inside and walks Maras onto the ropes.  Vasco quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Vasco throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Maras time to recover.
