Rob Carrithers vs Syed Mirza

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/12/2025 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rob Carrithers (11 - 5) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Syed Mirza(3 - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Mirza steps inside.  Mirza sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mirza throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mirza connects with a right hook.  
Mirza gets on the inside.  Carrithers lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Mirza walks Carrithers onto the ropes.  Carrithers lands a right uppercut.  
Carrithers is on target with an overhand right.  
Carrithers sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  
Carrithers sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mirza throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Carrithers tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a stinging jab.

Carrithers lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.
