Diego Alvaro vs Federico Mayor

Boxing Daily Report from the Cuba National Finals 2026,  taking place on 14/03/2026 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Alvaro (22 - 14) who hails from Camaguey, Cuba and Federico Mayor(17 - 11) from Havana, Cuba.  

Round 1: 

Alvaro hits home with a left uppercut.  Alvaro attempts to land a jab, but Mayor dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.
