Boxing Daily Report from the Australia National Finals 2026,  taking place on 14/03/2026 from Perth, Australia:

The Perth venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Colton (15 - 14) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Scott Kelso(15(1) - 7) from Adelaide, Australia.

Colton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a solid left hook.  
Colton steps to the outside and connects with a stinging cross.  
Colton is on target with an overhand right.

Colton feints a jab, tricking Kelso into launching a cross counter.  Colton is waiting for the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.
