Boxing Daily Report from the Guyana National Finals 2026,  taking place on 29/03/2026 from Georgetown, Guyana:

The Georgetown venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Couts (35(2) - 37) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Jordan Bloyd(5 - 4) from Georgetown, Guyana.

Bloyd is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a right uppercut, but Couts sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Bloyd sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Couts lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Couts is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Bloyd gets on the inside.  Couts lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.
