Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2026,  taking place on 29/03/2026 from Kingston, Jamaica:

The Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Cody Swapp (22 - 12) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and Jake Clingan(17(2) - 19) from Kingston, Jamaica.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Swapp's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.  Clingan's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
