Yasushi Hirai vs Ichiro Shimizu

Boxing Daily Report from the Japan National Finals 2026,  taking place on 29/03/2026 from Suita, Japan:

The Suita venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Yasushi Hirai (12 - 14(1)) who hails from Kashiwa, Japan and Ichiro Shimizu(12 - 5) from Amagasaki, Japan.
