Gregor Pennison vs Rewi Kiriwi

Boxing Daily Report from the New Zealand National Finals 2026,  taking place on 11/04/2026 from Wellington, New Zealand:

The Wellington venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gregor Pennison (11 - 8) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Rewi Kiriwi(6 - 6) from Christchurch, New Zealand.

Pennison closes the distance and walks Kiriwi down, trapping him on the ropes.  Pennison sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Kiriwi's liver.
