Boxing Daily Report from the Puerto Rico National Finals 2026,  taking place on 11/04/2026 from Bayamon, Puerto Rico:

The Bayamon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Berto Cotto (4 - 18) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Xalvador Betancourt(14 - 3) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  

Round 1: 

Betancourt stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Cotto throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.
