Baltasar Grullon vs Desiderio Don

Boxing Daily Report from the Nicaragua National Finals 2026,  taking place on 14/04/2026 from Managua, Nicaragua:

The Managua venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Baltasar Grullon (9 - 9) who hails from Masaya, Nicaragua and Desiderio Don(17 - 17) from Managua, Nicaragua.  

Round 1: 

Don closes the distance.  Don pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Don steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Don pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Grullon's body.  
Don sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Grullon's ribs.  
Grullon tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Don slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Don lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Don pivots from in front of his opponent.  Grullon tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Don hits home with a left hook.  
Don lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Don throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
