Shayan Qarni vs Danyaal Bashar

Boxing Daily Report from the Saudi Arabia National Finals 2026,  taking place on 26/04/2026 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia:

The Riyadh venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Shayan Qarni (9(2) - 4) who hails from Dammam, Saudi Arabia and Danyaal Bashar(11 - 18) from Medina, Saudi Arabia.  

Round 1: 

Bashar gets on the inside.  Bashar pivots to the left of his opponent.  Bashar throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Qarni drives a sharp right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Bashar steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Bashar digs in a right uppercut to Qarni's body.  
Bashar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Qarni is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into Bashar's body.  
Qarni switches the action to the outside.  Bashar lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Bashar steps inside.  Bashar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Bashar lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Bashar closes the distance.  Bashar sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Bashar lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.
