Boxing Daily Report from the South Korea National Finals 2026,  taking place on 29/04/2026 from Suwon, South Korea:

The Suwon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sung-ryong Jue (20(1) - 9) who hails from Incheon, South Korea and Heung-Min Chon(14 - 11) from Seoul, South Korea.  

Round 1:

Chon gets on the inside.  Chon pivots to the left of his opponent.  Chon throws a left hook, but Jue clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Jue switches the action to the outside and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Chon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Jue throws a right hook, but is off-target.  Jue clinches his opponent.  Jue pushes his forearm into Chon's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Jue.  
Chon steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Jue switches the action to the outside and is on target with a sharp cross.  
Jue steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to the head, an overhand right to the head and a jab to the body.  
Chon drives a stinging jab into his opponents face.  
Jue lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.
