The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jerrold Tesoro (11 - 9) who hails from Camaguey, Cuba and Quico Rota(0 - 6) from Havana, Cuba.  

Round 1: 

Tesoro steps to the outside and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.

Rota sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Tesoro lands a right uppercut.  
Tesoro is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Tesoro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Tesoro is looking to keep his distance.  Rota throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.

Tesoro throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Rota's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Tesoro switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.

Rota is on target with a left hook.  Rota attempts to land a left hook, but Tesoro blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Tesoro tries to keep the action at long range.  Tesoro feints a right hook, and then finds the target with a jab.
